Hemos heredado las emociones por nuestra evoluci\u00f3n. Las emociones son solo emociones que sentimos porque algo importante para nuestro bienestar est\u00e1 en juego. Surgen y pasan. Sin embargo, muchas veces adherimos pensamientos que las magnifican y entramos en una rueda destructiva.<\/p>\n<p>Aprender a tomar distancia y no juzgar lo que va surgiendo es indispensable para el equilibrio emocional.<\/p>\n<p>Aunque los pensamientos y las emociones se interrelacionan constantemente, el punto de partida para adquirir inteligencia y regulaci\u00f3n emocional empieza siempre por tomar conciencia y saber nombrar lo que estamos sintiendo f\u00edsicamente y emocionalmente. Y cuanto m\u00e1s rico sea nuestro vocabulario de sentimientos, mejor las sabremos identificar. No es lo mismo decir \u201cestoy triste\u201d que decir \u201cestoy triste porque estoy decepcionado, o frustrado, o confuso\u201d con respecto a un tema concreto.<\/p>\n<p>Darnos permiso por sentir nuestras emociones con cari\u00f1o y compasi\u00f3n, nos saca del \u201cno deber\u00eda estar sintiendo esto\u201d y del auto-enfado est\u00e9ril que ahonda en el \u201cmaltrato\u201d hacia nosotros mismos que tanto da\u00f1o nos hace.<\/p>\n<p>Las emociones est\u00e1n para ayudarnos a gestionar las situaciones que surgen en nuestra vida, pero requiere inter\u00e9s y disciplina comprenderlas para que no nos dominen destructivamente.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cMientras no exista la disciplina interna necesaria que aporta calma mental, no importa las facilidades externas o condiciones que te procures, ya que nunca te traer\u00e1n la sensaci\u00f3n de alegr\u00eda y felicidad que est\u00e1s buscando\u201d.<br \/>\n-Dalai Lama<\/p>\n<p>Ilustraci\u00f3n: Rueda de Vocabulario Emocional, facilitada por Paula Arnedo<br \/>\nSugerencia: Meditaciones n\u00ba06. \u201cNombrar las emociones\u201d en www.psyke.es.
