Los estudios muestran que el 80% de los pensamientos tienen un contenido negativo. Todas las estrategias dirigidas a intentar eliminar estos pensamientos no funcionan a largo plazo. Las historias que nos contamos solo se vuelven problem\u00e1ticas cuando nos fusionamos con ellas, cuando reaccionamos como si fueran verdad y les prestamos toda nuestra atenci\u00f3n.<br \/>\nSiempre que te sientas estresado, angustiado o deprimido, hazte la siguiente pregunta: \u00bfQu\u00e9 historia me est\u00e1 contando mi mente ahora? Y cuando la hayas identificado, deja de fusionarte con ella, y m\u00edrala como si fuera una nube, que aparece en tu conciencia, y acaba por desvanecerse, si no te resistes a ella.<\/p>\n<p>Cuando meditamos, no expulsamos los pensamientos, ni nos protegemos tras un muro para no tenerlos.<br \/>\nNo intentamos detener los pensamientos cuando caen en cascada en nuestra mente.<br \/>\nTan solo les \u201chacemos sitio\u201d, y los observamos como un producto de nuestra mente, y los dejamos en paz mientras utilizamos nuestra respiraci\u00f3n como un ancla o \u201cseguro\u201d desde el que observar y recordar que debemos permanecer concentrados y tranquilos.<br \/>\nA la meditaci\u00f3n no le preocupa cu\u00e1ntos pensamientos se producen, sino cu\u00e1nto espacio les dedicamos para que se produzcan en el campo de nuestra conciencia en cada momento.
